This Privacy Policy describes how Sattva Srsti (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes personal data when you use our mobile applications (Android and iOS), web application at sattvasrsti.com, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who this Service is for

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Sattva Srsti is an AI-powered food intelligence platform. The Service may include:

If you use diet plan or onboarding features, we may store height, weight, BMI, body metrics history, nutrition targets, meal logs, diet adherence, and health goal tags. This is sensitive health-related data used only to provide personalization within the Service.

We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by Google Play Billing (Android), Apple In-App Purchase (iOS, when enabled), and Razorpay (web). We receive confirmation tokens, order IDs, and subscription state only.

We do not use your personal data for unrelated marketing without your consent.

6. AI processing

Third-party AI. AI features are powered by third-party providers (including OpenAI). Your prompts and relevant context (e.g. ingredients, stored preferences) may be transmitted to generate responses.

Voice. Live Voice and speech features may process audio on your device and transmit audio or transcripts to our servers and AI providers for the duration of the session.

Accuracy. AI output may be incorrect or unsuitable for your dietary or health needs. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, allergens, and safety before cooking or consuming food.

Training. We configure AI services for product use. We do not intentionally provide your personal data to AI providers for public model training beyond what their API terms permit.

Safety. We may pass a pseudonymous user identifier to AI providers for abuse prevention and safety, as supported by our integration.

We require processors to protect data under contract. We do not sell personal data to data brokers. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Your data may be processed in India, the United States, and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards including contractual protections.

We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, Firebase security rules, tenant-scoped access, server-side purchase verification, and least-privilege backend access. No system is completely secure. Report issues to sattvasrsti@gmail.com.

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and GDPR where applicable), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, request portability, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Account deletion (in-app): Profile → Delete account. This deletes your Firebase Auth user, Firestore user data (pantry, diet, AI preferences, subscriptions, etc.), recipe reviews tied to your account, and profile photos in Storage. Deletion is irreversible.

Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Google Play, Apple, or Razorpay settings as applicable.

You may deny permissions; related features will not work. We do not access camera or microphone in the background without your action.

The web app may use browser storage and Firebase session cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

16. User-generated content

If you post recipe reviews or comments, that content may be visible to other users. Deleting your account removes your reviews. Do not post unlawful content or others’ personal data in reviews.

17. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version at sattvaprivacy.web.app with an updated date. Material changes may be notified in-app or by email where required.

19. Governing law
